“Reflections on Simplicity | Know and Grow” from Bonnie Wiley

The simple life sounds like drippy sentiment from a poet’s pen. Can we really have it, especially in today’s culture? When we want a simple life like we want air, we can get it. When we want answers to our prayers like we want air, we can receive them. When we want more of God like we want air, we will have more. If we feel scrambled and scattered, overwhelmed and indecisive, God wants to change that and give us a simplicity where He is the center and everything else finds its place around Him, where we lay our head on the pillow at night knowing our day went according to plan and where we feel confident that we lived the life we were supposed to live that day.
