Type B personalities are known to be more peaceful, so when we look at peace from this world’s viewpoint, peace could certainly be called a personality trait. But the Peace of God is something far greater. God’s Peace comes from without. Natural peace comes from within. God’s peace is eternal. Natural peace is temporary. And the good news is that even if you have a hyper, driven, competitive, stubborn, easily-agitated Type A personality, the Peace of God can be YOURS. God doesn’t withhold peace from the Type A person and save it just for the Type B person! All of us, whether Type A or B personalities, can call on the Lord for Peace.
