You think you’ve arrived. After all, when you’ve got it, you’ve got it! You’ve been serving God for some time now. You’ve grown and acquired knowledge, understanding and wisdom. It’s at this point that you might be inclined to think you’ve arrived. In this frame of mind (and heart) you may not be on the alert. You may let down your guard. In fact, you may be just as susceptible to making foolish decisions as you were before you grew to this level. The Bible says that the person who thinks they stand should take heed because they may fall. Maybe you’ve grown and matured, and you REALLY DO HAVE MORE TO OFFER to others than you once did, BUT ONGOING DILIGENCE IS REQUIRED. Keep alert today. Keep practicing the fundamentals. Keep your branch connected to the root. Don’t let down your guard like Solomon did and stray from God’s best. When you’ve GOT IT, KEEP IT!
